I see. So, if that's the case, then you would prefer peak power (let's just say 650 RWHP), all at 1,800 RPM?

If your car can dead hook from a dead or barely rolling stop, then this is fine. However most people who are running FI setups have enough power that traction is an issue. Sure, if your car has zero traction issues then power off the get go is perfect.
