I got a 2 bar tune from Alvin, and checked over it against DTS300z's tune on his turbo LT1 and he said it looks pretty good (and fairly safe). So we'll see how it goes, I have a wideband and tunercats and whatnot so if I need to make any changes, I can.
This coming fall I'm looking into setting up the Reluctor wheel/megasquirt II setup with Dan's help (DTS300z) and I plan to learn a good bit about the tuning aspect.

Well talked to the shop with the heads yesterday and apparently the springs needed to be installed at a different (and the correct) height and with the 1.6 RR's, they needed the retainers shaved a bit for clearance purposes? Idk it was explained to me but I kinda blanked out lol. They had to deck the head .004 I think he said.. I woulda had them CC the chambers but he wanted another $125 for that so I said negative ghostrider.
So yea there's some more money to them yarg... the machine shop with the shortblock is being slow and not getting my shit done but I was told this time, by Wednesday that will be done even though I shoulda had it back last friday.
Supposed to be working on the car some more today, gotta swap some fittings from intake to intake, maybe remove the fuel pump, clean the engine bay... and whatever little shit I can do while the motor isn't here.

I want to die... it was 95*+ out today with 75% humidity while I was working on the car...
I'm still not acclimated to FL high temps but mainly the humidity. It was about the same yesterday too, but I was severely dehydrated today. Needless to say, I am drained right now.
On another note, the machine shop is taking their sweet time with my shortblock. Keeps giving me "it'll be done in 2 days" yea well that was a week ago. I told him today that the motor is holding my whole build up and I need it back ASAP.
I did get my heads back today, no pics because I was too tired and just needed to come home and shower and rest.

Last friday... wait this past monday... wait today.. no wait this friday lol that's basically what I've been told the past week. He said they are busy and I understand but don't keep telling me dates if you aren't going to even work on it. It has been honed and that is it, no reassembly has occurred yet.

New cam bearings
New rod bearings
