no pics or vids today, but got it leaned out significantly and its an animal. now to richer it back up slightly. did have a few weird things crop up today as it was hot and humid. possibly boiling brake fluid, pedal got super soft at one point, and starting to wonder if my power brake booster is leaking vacuum. I cant find anything anywhere else

Good brakes are getting more important with the new found power!

yea luckily it was slow speed uphill turning around to put it back in the trailer when it happened, and it was only once. but ordered some heat sheathing and a roll of niccop to reroute the rear feed line up and away from the turbo stuff.

another thing, alot of people hate on siemens deka 60 and 80lb injectors and i always wondered why. now with the deka 60's in the car they suck! they actually heat soak and pulsewidth gets weird when hot causing long cranks and funny idling for about 30 seconds after hot restart. my racetronix never did this

got her back out saturday to sort this brake issue out. We did not fully reroute the line yet as i broke my flaring tool on the factory hard line and forgot about it (factory steel lines are TOUGH to flare in the car), but we disconnected it from the prop valve and installed 1200f heat sleeving over it from the prop valve all past the header down to the driver side framerail where it would normally be by the long tube collector. then proceeded to bleed the whole system thru 2 full bottles of brake fluid.

Gas gauge was at half, so i knew i needed fuel. I had @Ltconvert follow me to the gas station in town (about 7 miles) just in case i had any other issues. this is also a few revisions in on the tune as well. trip there was uneventful, everything felt good. go to leave and these dang deka 60 injectors heatsoak rather quick, car was crank crank cranking, i let off key, BABOOOM out of the exhaust. hit key again and fired right up.

unknown to me 2 local cops had pulled in on the diesel pump side which is where osie was. I guess when they were walking in was when it went baboom, and they came back out looking around going wtf was that!

i pulled around, saw the cars, said to osie lets go!! and pulled out onto the side street which is a blind left turn, where ANOTHER local cop was coming down, he waved me out, i waved and carried on. They did not follow, so i guess even with a 4" bumper dump exhaust exiting on the driver side he did not care (car is legal otherwise)

was able to get a few data pulls in on the way home and wow, this thing is fast ALL THE TIME lol. once 50% throttle shows up its in boost.

now to get to the track for the shake downs. 7psi wastegate spring with no boost control, making about 6psi consistently.Screenshot 2026-04-20 120913.png20260418_200517.jpg
