I would wrap the hotside and get a quality turbo blanket.

That alternator, and upper rad hose will cook if not.

Make a screamer pipe for the gate and brace that. You don't want hot WG gas venting on your steering rack boots.

send me a link for a good turbo blankie. I am gonna make the wastegate pipe go out with the downpipe i think. already thought of that. its just on there for now. brace the gate back to the motion merge? or brace the screamer pipe?

I also am making a hanger for the downpipe off the frame rail for some kind of support

I was saying brace the gate if you weren't tying it back into downpipe. If downpipe is braced, the gate should be good to go.

    Driver side dump, is bold.

    Enjoy dem fumes boi.

you forget the exhaust used to dump directly underneath me for 2 years it exited about mid door. im used to it. its temporary, will do the boost cut out and y it to 3" for full exhaust later.

I dont think im gonna run it INTO the downpipe, but parallel to it out the bumper (with that 2" braced to the downpipe). downpipe is gonna get a rubber bushes hanger

s550 mustang 4" thick intercooler scored for 150 on fb marketplace, as well as holley blow thru elbow for tb.

modded core support with og griffin rad and installed stock fans as pushers. Will probably have to just nut up and buy derale fans/griffin smaller rad, but trying to use what I have.

Nice work on the intercooler mounting. Cool flip flop on the fans. Reverse polarity on the fans to make them pushers?

yea thats the idea. but unsure if it will work with how thick the shroud is etc. time will tell. intercooler im gonna make 2 more tabs for the back 2 mounting holes and have ti grab a few more m8 bolts for it. just waiting on 3.5-3" silicone reducers to start doing intercooler piping. once thats sorted then hotside gets wrapped and bolted on for hopefully good

merry Christmas to you and everyone as well!

merry Christmas to all!!! cold side roughed in! wastegate dump pipe started, ran out of 2" straight.

next is trim hood because it hits on the carb hat coupler, few clamps, then wrap hotside and install it. then coils/oil scavenge pump, finish with fuel and tune.

phasing it is helping me somewhat.

You are going to melt that cold side coupler above your downpipe
