that'd be from not having a vacuum pump or anything, open breather so crankcase suddenly equalizes and puffs the last bit of fuel out of the nitrous side of system (like to noid). its not on plugs so I haven't worried about it lol. I gotta do a vacuum pump this winter

also the front tires rub the fender liners when im hard on the brakes initially

Oh, that's what it is. I need to do some kind of crankcase vacuum on mine too(one of these days). I have mine breathing like a old boat engine.(Two closed breathers with a hose running to the side of the air filter snorting it).

I have the check valves and everything to do a crankcase evacuation system but I would hate to cut into the exhaust to install. Mighty Mouse catch can system is on my wanna list but I just haven't gotten roundtuit. I spoke with a fella at MM and told him I didn't want to move my ignition coil and wanted a can mount to fit into that small pocket on the driver side front next to where my K&N air tube goes down. He was cool and said he could make any kind of mount I wanted for the can. (For an additional fee).Probably about $400 total.
I just got side tracked on other projects.
I had a couple cars back in my younger days that had a draft tube. I'm pretty sure my the original engine in my '65 Fairlane 289 had one.
