Where did you source your spec vette wheels?
I got the wheels on the spec vette site. It was between these and Apex EC-7s, but there was no promo code for Apex and they would've been more $. I think the EC-7 has less caliper clearance also.

These showed up yesterday. They look great except for a big gouge in one of them on the outer lip. Stuff like this seems to happen to me every other time I buy wheels. Thankfully, Trackspec is going to send me another but I'm not sure if they want the damaged one back, still waiting on a response.

Didn't realize these are also VIA tested to JWL standards @ 1800lbs. Very impressive for a wheel I weighed at 23.5lbs.

Trackspec is letting me keep the gouged one, yay free spare!!! I don't think I'm gonna have enough time between when the replacement arrives and leaving for Pitt, so I am going to run the dented wheel in the interim.

Tirerack's mobile installer came by today and swapped 3 of the 4 tires since one of them had a nail stuck in there. They don't do patch plugs, so I will have to take it to another shop tomorrow.

The 285 on an 11" doesn't look as stretched as I thought it would.

Interested to hear if you feel the difference with a change in wheel width only. I wonder if the slight tire stretch may make it more responsive or less forgiving to quick steering/throttle inputs. The wheels look great - now they just need to make something similar for widebody 'vettes.

I'm curious too. Hopefully it's not too sharp or direct that it feels twitchy.
And they do make a C6 widebody version also! https://trackspecmotorsports.com/spe...r-c6z06-wheels

Also, I was bleeding my brakes and swapping the wheels on the car earlier when I noticed that my rear pads were at <30% life. I think these Wilwood Promatrix pads have only been on the car for 3 events total? That's total BS so I ordered some HPS 5.0 to try out since there aren't many other low mu pads to choose from in this shape.

    Sick - bookmarked! Thanks!

I have a set of used Z06 wheels that I'll put my current race tires on, but would eventually like to go 18's all around so that's a great option.

Love the wheels, now I need a paint job and a different hood lol.
I think the high speed vibration I was getting was definitely my old wheels falling apart. Car feels smoother on the highway now.
