I don't know if you remember a polish system from “Zaino”? It was highly debated 20+ years ago whether it was as good as the owner, Sal Zaino (right here in central NJ - has a beautiful red Viper) claimed it was. I used it and when Shaun drove off with it on the trailer, after the car sitting in the garage for maybe 10 years covered with dust, then outside for 2 years, never being polished, the paint still looked better than new.
I still have the original hood, removed from the car in 2000, sat outside at 2nd Street for a few years, then in my garage, then for at least 6 years outdoors in my back yard. Still shines like the day I took it off the car. Wish I could find someone who wants the hood…. or it’s off to the dump.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

i gotta come get it and the nos bracket. the paint looks good from a distance and is in pretty good shape, but you can see up close leaf staining from leaves sitting on it. thatll have to get buffed by someone with more patience and experience than me lol
i remember all the Zaino commercials when i was a kid

I'm not familiar with the Zaino products, but your testimonial about how long they protected the finish has me interested.
I looked them up and you can order online. Thanks for the tip on the product.

putting street miles on. the new trans cooler setup averages 150-160 temp all the time. thats a helluva improvement over last year
oil temp 205 average, oil pressure 10w30 full syn 25psi hot idle and averaging 50-60 cruising
gear vendors i think is definitely taking a shit. super slow to engage, shudders when engaging, disengaging randomly.

It seems Injuneer built the perfect sleeper. Now it's moving up a notch.
You're lucky to get such a nice machine to work with.

Zaino was good stuff, but not geared towards durability. There are far superior products on the market now, but 15+ years ago, Zaino was the jam. I'm surprised they didn't jump on the coatings bandwagon for durability.
