So after reviewing some new logs with my ghetto Spectre intake and comparing them to the Moroso CAI, it looks like the MAP drop decreased about 1 kpa. I've been comparing everything on scatterplots and approximating the difference in vacuum from 3k to 6k. The MAF g/sec also increased again by a noticeable amount, but I know airflow can vary with temp, humidity, baro, etc. Car seemed to pull about 380-385 g/sec at peak power and even flashed 410 once which is a ton better than last year. The anticipation leading up to dyno day is killing me.

I also swapped in a 160* t-stat, swapped my crusty used BMRs in the rear for shiny new ones, took out the rod-ended UMI panhard in favor of a poly Spohn unit, and installed my 23mm 3rd gen sway bar after grinding the diff a little.

Here's a pic from the other day:

    cropped.jpg

I've been screwing with the tune more. I think the injector constant was set a little too low because the computer was consistently pulling fuel when I averaged the BLM cells 0-15. I took the injector constant from 34.6 to 36 initially, and then to 36.8. Everything has been getting closer to 128 except for cells 16-18 which are lean, but I think that means I need to readjust this POS Holley TB because too much air is making it past the blades and not through the IAC passages. Gonna wrap the throttle spring around once more (as if my pedal wasn't heavy enough already) and try to straighten out the butterflies so it binds less.

The WOT AFR is also around 12.7-8 which is better too.

Also, I found myself in Mexico last night and gapped the shit out of a new modded STI, not once but twice lol. Dunno what was done to it but it was loud. I'm sure he was salty.

About 45hp more than last year with some small tweaks, I'm happy. Will tackle the blower when I get Gma back together.0415171244a.jpg
