Dan,
I heard those are like GTOs, pretty much sweet hearts to work on. The new Gen 6 I hear is not so fun, put an LT1 in it, made it hard to work on

The only bad thing about it was the fenders are like too wide compared to a 4th gen. I can reach all of the side with my car.
These I can't. You gotta literally get up in there.
But they went in with no modifications. Texas speed didn't send the right clamps either lol

Well as many of u know... Ive been prepping and spending alot of time getting ready for what was definitely a well worth it verdict today. After nearly 2 years since I took the offender into custody, several complications through the courts... getting him certified as an adult (he was 17 when I arrested him, and 15 and 16 when he committed the acts... but today he was found guilty AS AN ADULT and will do ADULT TIME in ADULT PRISON for taking the innocence of an 11/12 year old foster "brother." These past two days off were filled with ovee 16 hours of court time and the verdict made it all worth it, and strengthened my faith in our "flawed system" just a little more. Now just to wait for the judge to SENTENCE the defendant. Today is what makes it all worth it to me, and why I "specialize" in all of our departments juvenile sexual assaults.

I commend you for working in that field, i'm sure it is a very difficult thing to deal with. Was there history of abuse to/by the defendant? That kind of abuse tends to become a cyclical problem; abusers were once victims, and victims become abusers.

Excellent observation. Yes, there is "undocumented" history of the defendant being abused as a juvenile as well as having been a predator to a younger family member as well, which is what ultimately got him kicked out and into the foster system.
Thanku for the kind words... i do it because the victims need the voice... they need the power that they dont have on their own to get the Justice they deserve, as well as getting them out of the situation they are in. This week alone, i have 2 more cases on my desk. One is a 7 year old victim...

I don't know how you can handle that stuff Popo. I cant fathom having to read details and getting so involved. That stuff make me horrified and appalled.

So after 15 years of driving and never hitting a deer, I get a new truck and get 2 within the last 6 months. I just replaced the front air dam 3 weeks ago after getting damaged last winter and it got ripped off last night. Now playing phone tag with the insurance co to get it repaired. Looks like a new valance and air dam again and the rear drivers door (scuffed) and bed side(dented and cracked paint).
