It's mere political grandstanding from the left. Much like Paul Walker's sister or family trying to sue Porsche, I don't think it'll go very far, however it'll bring out the paranoids to start buying out .22 ammo!

What about the American Made AK? Our local gun shop has gone some in for $530 with a synthetic stock. Are they good and can you get them with wood? If not Can you still find cheap surplus wood for the AK?

I would go for the US made AK, I prefer non wood or synthetic. Lighter and more durable.
The reason the AK works is because it's so easy to manufacture. 3rd world country's do it maybe we can.

Bought a sailboat just for the lead keel. Should net about 20k .45 acp bullets. Stripping the hardware pulley blocks ect will pay for the purchase plus I got a trailer.
I've already been shootin the sumbabitch. The multiple layers of fiberglass will stop a .45 most of the time. Depends on where you hit it.

Sadly Americans other then ddi cannot build an ak, except DDI... c39v2 , ras47, inter ordinance are garbage. Owned and shot them.

If you want a cheap ak that runs get a wasr.

If you want to read and learn about aks join akfiles.

Also there is a handful of veprs in stock right now if you want to grab a true russian kalashnikov. Heres mine

    True, and agreed.
I assumed he was talking kalishnokov USA for some reason. Hence the sarcastic 3rd world comment. Wasr. Would be my cheapest choice. Checked their.msrp on us kalishnokov its a bit more than 5xx.
