I sighted in my ar15 yesterday. Was shooting some out of the box stuff. Got 3/4 inch groups at a 100 yards with a 16" colt barrel . Trigger sucks really bad. Is stiff around 8 lbs and has a good amount of creep.
Got a 3lb timney from @firebird_1995 on the way. GOOD deal on it to . Hope its a nice trigger. I have one in my mauser 308 and its nice.

Perhaps it depends on your geographical location. I got mine for under $300. Going on GunsAmerica there are plenty for under $300. I'd suggest instead of just shitting on other people's choices for guns you at least provide some sort of suggestion of what you think is better, or an alternative since you won't relinquish what you believe to be the best .22 on the market today. How is anyone to know you aren't one of those "internet commandos" you've warned about unless you provide more info? Just a thought.

Or perhaps take note that nearly all reputable media outlets and pro shooting mags not only rate it as not only a top .22 but a top gun of all time regardless of chamber.
As i said, criticisms of it should be taken with a grain of salt just like the r700 and 870 etc.
50 years and still holds strong.
As SS RRR said, in these instances, its your opinion that requires justification as it appears to stray from logic. Your criticisms may be legit but they appear paper thin when not backed by options and facts.Last edited by donfrye; 02-23-2016 at 09:08 PM.

And in the end of the day, does anyone on here actually shoot match grade .22 ammo? No?
Ok, so cheap ruger 10/22 is back on top

I hardly feel like i"shitted all over" i thought i even said "im not shitting on"
If you feel that way im sorry for your thin skin and delicate feelings.
I dont feel the need to constantly "educate" or "enlightened" you or anybody. Im entitled to my opinion. I dont have the time or patience to do so. Its like the AK all over again isnt it?
You cant lump one weapon to be the best or perfect. The best 22lr lol? really? Keep reading your field and stream.
I already gave a list of the "cool guns to have" in comparison to the pre internet comando days of what was cool. Any real gun person would recognize the list i gave in comparison and said "yup". I get tired of explaining gun things to supposedly "gun people" Its over your head.
Guns are tools you dont use a sledge hammer to repair a loose screw on your eye glasses, and you dont go to the proctologist because your wee wee wont work.
IMO anybody that thinks the remmy 700 is something that manufacturers are only just starting to catch up to is ludicrous, same goes for the remmy 870. Remington is overall in the toilet and retards are still riding the sheople train on whats the best.
I guess its just that flat brim hat baggy pant honda civics the best yo generation. I know how dare i say honda is not "TEH" best.
