My neighbor does that, zips em right above the hips and makes it easy. But you should be able to butcher without it.

I got a new filet knife the other day and man does that make life easier compared to a small lil buck knife for butcher work.

    Recipe I used

    Stupid simple, which I like.

He got her a new one from cabelas, only took her a little bit as compared to the old one stopping every 10 minutes to sharpen. Guess it was only a 4. He said he shot a 6, it ran onto state land (hunts upstate ny), he got there 15 mins later with the quad and someone had already gutted it and carried it off.

You can still eat the bacon, a few people did at dinner but I personally don't eat it because it doesn't get crispy, and I like my bacon crispy. Yhe main reason for bacon wrap is for flavor because all that grease flows right down into the bird, and to keep it moist, again because of all the grease it stays pretty juicy.
