Thread: Stall Wall Help

    Default Stall Wall Help

A friend of mine switched to a higher stall converter last week he went to the track and it was bouncing off the limiter.

I've never fooled with removing a stall wall before.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do? I use tunercat.

    Thanks.

Set the 1-2 shift point mph to 0. then set the 1-2 shift rpm about 500 lower then you want it to shift at. It will take some fine tuning to get it just where you want it but that's what we did with my car

You only have to change it in the 97-100 percent throttle table fyi, but yes, what @firebird_1995 said

The only place I made a change to was in the kick down tables

There's another table you may have to touch. It's in the constants in Tunercats called "VSS diagnostics enable min RPM." Set that one 200 RPM's higher than your flash speed of the converter.

    Which table is that?

I haven't been on tunercat in a while. I need a refresher course lol.
