    After you do that take it to the track and run at least an 11.55. Then go on ls1tech and rub it in 96capricemgr's face that an LE Impala stock-shortblock car whooped his ass.

    I already have better lifters for it, same ones osie has in his 383 as recommended by karl. Brand new crowers. If the springs weren't right on the heads I sold that'd bother me since he set them up for the cam specs.

    Idk how much power an 11.55 would take, Id be extatic to see an 11.99 out of something that large. My TA only runs 14s.

    Oh yes... gears will def be in her future. I just want to get her running well and back to obd2 first.

    Well in the camaro, I kinda do. I have an OBD2 PCM that will plug in with no SES lights.... driveability sucks and car makes 508hp on that one. Then I have the good set up... OBD1, great driveability, and the car makes 602.

    IDK if I can do the same thing with the Impala...

    I don't see why you could't "run" an OBD2 PCM and have it just receive power and give serial connection to ADL port. As long as VIN checks and all systems are tuned to show ready, should be enough for inspection?

    I figure it would just be easier to return it to obd2... then have it pro tuned where indid my camaro... worst case it will be h/c/i... should not be as much headache as boost set up was to tune.
