Eh it's an auto car, 10 bolt should be fine. I actually never have broken one, wore out two posi units though, granted my hp level isn't monsterous but isn't exactly far off from your goal. Only went with a 9" because didn't feel like putting more money into repairing my 10 bolt. Both posi units were used, not new btw. Originally Posted by TubbyFormy

I peg legged one of my 10 bolts, but ran 11s at high 130s on it.
500hp NA means 1000hp boost capable!Correlation does not imply causation.

Who knows. .. 10 bolts are weird. I know a turbo lt1 out of chitown went 9 . teens at 150 Mph on a bone stock 10 bolt. His username was robsquickz28.
I think you'll be ok but then again I've seen them break at stock power levels so it's purely a gamble.
