Sorry I was pretty tired when I wrote that. Just moving my deadline for the car being done till OCMD. Should still be done well in advance but gives me some breathing room.

Well the trans is in. Having issues with the driveshaft fitting. The balancer on yoke is bottoming out on the tail housing. I measured the driveshaft and its 41 3/4. I checked a few others that were spoken for on friends projects and they're 41 even u-joint center to u-joint center. Gonna pick up another one tomorrow from Larry. Interior is back in, EWP relay is rewired, MAF wires extended. Once the driveshaft is done. All that's left is the exhaust, fill the trans and bleed the brakes.

@95 blackbird txt me this morning and told me he had his stock driveshaft from a 6 speed sitting in the corner and to come try it before making the journey to pillage @popo8 's poor donor car yet again. I took my measuring tape with me and the new shaft came in at 40 5/8...over an inch shorter. Long story short...new shaft bolted right up except for getting a new U-joint to convert it back to the snap ring style.

Larry, Thank you for listening to me last vent about the issue and doing the leg work for texting Chris. Also, tell him thank you for going out in the rain and mist to get the driveshaft from the donor.

The number 2 surrounds this car. My 2nd 4th gen, 2 engine rebuild, 2 ECM's, 2 4L60's and now for the second time the t56 is out. I was having issues with the clutch fork alignment and decided to pull it. Turns out that the clutch for will not fit over the throw out bearing and after reading many horror stories about the SPEC's I've decided to give Competition Clutch a try.

In other news; the wideband is all ready to go and the brakes are bled. Need to finish my rewire of EWP...the relay stuffed in the corner was kinda sketchy. Just sold my ZZR last night so I have some cash to play with for OCMD.
