Dang. build a nasty naturally aspirated set up Darren. No stock nothing! If my drunk memory serves me right, you and Mike v are 2 and 2 tied. ... gonna need to drag some of those good parts off the shelf
What are you doing with gump?
Do you still have the stock internals lt1 you built years ago with those kids?

Gump is one that I will never part with. I ordered that car new in 1995. Turns out it's a one-of-one! Only 000186 original miles too!! Retirement consists of a few cosmetic fixes, new tires, new decals, and a show car sign.
I still have the kids stock internals car. It now has a blueprinted LT1 and should see a little track action soon with my buddy Rodger driving.
If I were going to run the Shootout, I would bring the car that I have been threatening to build for years now. I really have a lot of projects going on. I am converting my red Formula to run Chevrolet Performance Stock with the NMCA. We will be racing both COPOs in Stock at a bunch of NHRA races. I also have two body-in-white Camaros that I am building to run in Stock later this year.
I would love to have another shot at Mike. I just don't think that my litle 345 ci LTX would be very good at 3300lbs.Last edited by gump; 01-27-2015 at 08:59 PM.
