Default Firebird, Formula, Trans Am Headlight Options

Years ago, I did some research on installing HID's in my car. I have since forgotten it all and lost interest. Now that the car is coming back and I just realized it has sealed beams, what are my options for some better light output? I don't want high end projector housings with an $800 HID kit.

How about eBay housings and maybe H6545 adapters so I can use a normal bulb? What are you guys doing?

Next upgrade is sealed beam silverstars which I can't recommend. Hella free form 165mm housings are a good option for not too much money. The next is slapping in a HID kit and blinding folks. The best is a bixenon projector setup but that's a bit more money. I've used, built and done it all so the Hella conversion housings would be my cost effective recommendation.

Ebay housings and put silverstar bulbs in if you do not want to get projectors. Going to be the best youll get. HIDS are a no no in reflector housings

I'm putting these in, still need to buy a HID kit for it though. Got put in the back burner until my swap is done.

I think clear/cheaper housings and a decent set of bulbs is my best bet. I'm not interested in an HID install. Thanks, guys.

I will still push the Hella free form conversion housings. I believe they are around 110 with bulbs. Don't buy the silverstar junk. Just get a good set of good halogens.

They've been on my radar since they are all over Amazon. They will totally be my first choice. I've been running Silverstar Ultra 9005/9006's in my last couple of cars and they've been amazing at night. Nice and bright.

Where did you get the mounting brackets?
