My favorite moment I've been sharing with everyone was when the epidural doc came in to give her additional pain killers -- they always ask "On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is your pain right now?" Definitely a big adjustment. Haven't been able to sleep in the same bed with my wife for a week already. We're getting used to the routine, but it's definitely a big adjustment. I get the "day shift" so my wife lets me sleep from ~10pm to 6:30am. I then get up and take over for her as much as possible while Angie goes down and sleeps through the late morning / afternoon, but the hard part right now is the breastfeeding -- only one of us can do anything about that. They say no bottle for the first 3 weeks, so we're stuck having to rely on Angie being the sole feeder. He sleeps for about 1.5 - 2 hours at a time and then wakes up hungry, so then I have to wake Angie up to feed him.

...but the hard part right now is the breastfeeding -- only one of us can do anything about that. ....

We had our newborn photoshoot today, of course i had to show some LT1 love by including an optispark as one of the props. And of course as soon as the opti got near him he started crying. It was kinda ironic.
