NJ basically says no rifle use, so the .22 is for plinking at a 75yard range and thats it.
Hunting is low brass bird shot or high brass 00. Really tempted to try some 3.5 inch stuff in the browning...Correlation does not imply causation.

Although I think they allow .223 centerfire for coyote hunts.

That gun is a Thompson Center 30-06. This is at 100 yards at our local range.
