Obviously that goes without saying, I was just implying that a rapid mob approaching ones front door would warrant some sort of response, whether it be deadly or not. In fl that falls under the stand your ground law. You have no duty to retreat. So if you're in imminent fear for your life or the life of another person or great bodily harm you can legally use deadly force.
