I did not... I must have missed it.

Its funny you bring that up... our drivers and passengers side doors are lined (as much as we could) with retired vests and duct tape, lol.

I'm not planning on shooting through any windshields, just was not impressed when I saw that happen. I live in a town that has the 5th highest violent crime rate in the nation.#1 in the state. it is over ridden with gang and drug violence. I have seen a drug related gang shooting take place 3 doors down from me, it was a drive bye. I just prefer to carry a bigger stick than the little gangbangers. the statistics we were given when the wife and I took our concealed carry class were quite astonishing. Since you are a LEO you should be able to get the statts for Roswell,NM. the class was given by a state trooper, the films we saw were quite intense. you never know when a hopped up gang banger might approach your vehicle with a weapon drawn, necessitating a shoot through the windshield scenario. yet I pray to the good lord above that I never have to draw down and fire on a human being.

Ok, was just curious. Let me just remind you that no matter the caliber, trajectory will be changed when shooting through something, so please keep that in mind as you are the one who will be accountable for your rounds when/if ever fired.

I'll have another 45 in the arsenal soon, a P-97 was my first gun but I sold it many moons ago, to be a cheap ruger it was a nice shooting gun!
Btw, who buys guns for looks anyway? Lol
