Its one of those things that you may end up making it all work great but for the money/time you spent on it... you could have done a proper front mount or blower.

But, if ya want simple and easy...

I just feel that its gonna be laggy and if you don't mind that, you aren't interested in going fast anyways.

    My jumbled thoughts. lol

pricing things out, it would probably be easier and cheaper to do a flipped stock manifold front mount setup. guess ill have to see what the future holds. and for the record, i dont like spray. i want to be able to hit the gas when i please and have the power there, not open bottles and stuff.

When sized properly, (not a cobbled together home build or eBay junk) there isn't any more lag than a front mount kit though. When initially deciding to go FI I looked into it thoroughly. The guys that have bought real sts kits sized to their car are very happy with them and compared to the same vehicle with same mods at the same power levels, the difference in lag in non existent. Now when you get a kit then start changing things, all bets are off. So in that sense, its sort of a one and done mod IMO whereas a front mount allows some more wiggle room

Like we spoke about in pm. You will spend less to go fast by going with nitrous than FI. Much less. Much Much less. And there's all kinds of new electronics for nitrous nowadays. Remote bottle openers, progressive controllers, etc. Like I said, there will be a car running 10's at the shootout on a stock bottom end and cc306 with nitrous. Nothing more

I would be very curious to see some sort of experiment done on this. I am more drag race oriented mind thinking so this could be biasing all this.
