All stock manifolds use the outer bolt. Can't see the inner bolt until the manifolds are off. Like I said, if it is either the first or last bolt that is broken then don't sweat it, when you get the manifolds off you'll see.

This leads me to what I am planning to do to the car over the next year, or two depending on the the funds! Being a high school student still I'm very limited to the mods I can perform. And I really can;t do anything about it if I am living in the same house with my dad, it is what it is. So I will give you the rundown on what I'm going to do.
Doing a CC503 cam since it's the biggest I can go with these stock heads. Since I'm not able to build a street car, I might as well make it sound like one. Of course I'm doing the given valve train supporting mods. May get chewed out a little for saying that, but what am I to do?
After I get the cam, it's off to the local scrap and junk lots to find a T56! Yes, a six speed. I love manual cars, and this drowned out A4 is really pissing me off. This is also why I drive my dads new STi as much as I can. Luckily the author of the M6 swap for the B Body lives 20 minutes away from me and can give me a hand once I find and install it. Might go with a better clutch like a McCleod, but that's farther down the road and I'll worry about it when I get there.
The link to the manual is here: http://www.grail-ss.com/GRAIL%20Webs...ll%20guide.pdf
Behind that would be a new drive shaft (needed for T56 swap) backed by new gears and posi. My plan right now is to get an Eaton Tru Trak posi unit with Moser hardened axles, and 4.10 drive ratio. But just this morning I had a friend text me that he had a lead on an Auburn posi unit and 3.73 ratio gears that are brand new. If all goes well and dad approves, I will probably be getting those because of the budget gap.
The numbers I'm looking for? Well as long as they are better than the stock ones than I will be happy. All I'm looking for is being able to coast into the school parking lot and getting some looks from the haters, drive it a couple days out of the week, and take it to the strip every once in awhile. If you can relate.
In no means is this going to be a fast speedy build. But it will be done with quality. Buy once, cry once. It's better to spend money building it right the first time than to spend more building it the second time.

32! Sounds nice and toasty there in Indiana =) A pair of mechanics gloves and an old hoodie and get to crankin! You'll be sweaty in 15 minutes lol.
Definitely liking the M6 swap!
Also, how old are you? I might have missed it. I'm 20 and I got my f body in the beginning of my senior year of high school, puttin a smack down on all the old 5.0 and v6 stangs kids had =) I kinda wanted a impala back then, would have been a better DD choice. Yours is real sweet.Last edited by FormulaJoe; 02-24-2014 at 10:48 PM.

I'm 17. I got my b body my sophomore year. Definitely happy with it. Thanks for the compliment!
I can relate to the kids that drive Stangs. I get a lot of crap from them, and this one kid that drives a Z34 Lumina LOL! My Impala is the fastest car in the lot as far as I know, except for my rich friend that has a 2013 Speed Factory SRT8 Challenger. Lucky bastard.Last edited by 95impalakid; 02-25-2014 at 10:01 AM.

Well I'm sitting in Chemistry right now, about to go home sick. Might take a peak at the headers. I know I can't get to them tonight because I don't have any hardware yet, but I'm determined to get them on soon!
The Flowtech headers that I have, in all there beautiful, shiny, and blinding glory are made for F Body cars as we all know. I have taken that into consideration, and I am not the only one that has done so. Some run into problems with the AC lines, making small contact with the frame, ya know, typical stuff to run into. Some however, have had there headers slide right up into place. I will be using the Flowtech Installation Sticky from ISSF located here: http://www.impalassforum.com/vBullet...d.php?t=239283Last edited by 95impalakid; 02-25-2014 at 10:06 AM.

Congrats on buying that B-Body. Mine has been on jack stands for 2yrs. Looking to rebuild the semi - stock motor. Trans was just redone (worn out). Procrastination has long since set in. Funding coming available to really get this done.
