Small world. I'm a union pipefitter from local 160. I probably met you at one of the picnics or on the picket line. Damn shame what they did to you guys. Corporate greed and ignorance is in control over there now. When we hired in they told us they were looking to get the unions back in and shaw/cb&i out but we didn't get treated that way. They were busting our balls every chance they could get. I'm glad to hear you were able to find other work. I worked in Calvert City for about 2 months this year also. Where did you end up going?

Yes small world, we could have crossed paths. I supported my brother and sisters till the lock out ended but luckily I went to work for Westlake Chemical in Calvert. Best company I have ever worked for, we have the expansion going on now and a have a big turn around coming up in march! Also thanks for the support!!

You are very welcome. I wish it would have turned out better for you guys. I was at Westlake PVC for awhile. I think we still have a few guys at the chemical plant. I've heard that is a pretty good company to work for. We'll have to meet up sometime at the new track in paducah. I've heard its a good one.

That sounds good, the track is real nice. The owner of the track has a 12 COPO Camaro.

That sounds great, Beacon Dragway is really nice. The owner of the track has a couple cars but one of them is a 2012 COPO Camaro, we have a West Ky F-body/GM Motorsports group that gets together about once a month. Hopefully we will have more events next year. http://www.beacondragway.com/

Yea the owner is actually a piping contractor too. He owns MertCo. I heard he spent $3000 worth of vht in one night. He definitely takes care of the track!
