    Yea you never notice em until you gotta stop real fast. Only takes once. I don't mind if I drive it once a month like I am but I really wanna drive it next year. Tired of it being a unicorn. You hear about it but never see it.

    I can get some....they are in a storage locker, so it may be a few day's. The are new.... never mounted. I believe they are 17x9.5

    No hurry on my end.... they have been in storage for over a year!!

    Yeah.... I'm running the 17x11 as well... that's why I have the 9.5's for sale..... nice wheels and new!!....

    There are no skinny tires rated for the full front weight of a LT1 car, then toss on a front mount turbo kit and yea, not many tires will satisfy the weight requirements.

    Just run a light wheel, and deal with the heavier (albeit safer) tire. I know my OEM ZR1 rims weigh next to nothing and a 275 tire isn't half bad at hooking decent.

    I didnt know that....how skinny are they?
    like a 195...or 205...that cant support an fbody?

    185 radial. Theyre what M&H recommended. I've seen heavier cars on skinnies.

    Yea, but like you said, a quick tight turn will most definitely overload the ratings on a 185 tire. Not something I want to risk myself.
