Started pulling the engine out tonight. I need to unbolt the passenger side header, drain the fluids, unhook the radiator, and its ready to come out. The thought keeps crossing my mind that while its out I should bump the compression up from 8.5 to 9 or maybe higher. Or maybe I should just let it be, I dunno.

I want high compression for my car. Maybe 12-13/1

8.5 is low! i know boost from a roots style is different, but how much boost are you running?

Technically none at the moment. Never ran long enough to see what it would put out. All I can say is the gt500 guys have gotten 18-20 out of them on their engines. I'm running a slightly larger crank pulley then they do but I know its not an apples to apples comparison but I'm hoping for at least 15#.
