    Default THE GREAT OUTDOORS thread

Well it's starting to get nice and spring is here finally and I know most of us spend alot of time in the garage or here on LTXtech; but who here ventures into the great outdoors. I mean Hunting, Fishing, Camping (legit camping), Hiking, Stalking, Geocaching or whatever else you like to do outdoors. It doesn't matter; what gets you into the wilderness or at least outside in the sunlight?

Lacey and I love to take the Jeep or Burban and hit the trails. We'll drive till we find a nice spot, set up camp and just chill! We try to do it once a month, when its warm.

I love deer hunting, trap shooting, and fishing...

And a good weekend at the lake or a float trip on the current river

    Lol Larry...

I like to rollerblade in the streets (I speed skate) to get out in the sun. I like camping once in a while, too, and going to the lake with some buddies and swimming and/or jet skiing.

I'm really like to fish myself, right now were tearing white perch up at the mouths of the rivers. Also Striper are starting to run hard close to shore. I'm going out Tuesday off the pier that's 5 mins from my house. I'll be down towards Indian River Inlet and Fenwick Island towards the end of summer for Blues. I'm still haven't tried my luck at hunting but I plan too this coming deer season. I'm ready with bow, muzzle loader and 870..lol. Also, Duck, Goose, and Turkey are big around here. As far as camping I've only been somewhat local. Outside of De I've only been in WV and PA. I plan to have another big trip toward fall or spring of next year.

That was the whole reason I started getting into Jeeps. There is nothing around here for trails or decent camping. I bought my 01' specifically for a WV camping trip I had planned. The week before we left my 95's trans let go. (A sad reoccurring trend)

You would hate the mosquitoes around my house, they are known to carry off small dogs and children. That and the green heads are vicious; you almost need stitches when one latches on.
