It's hard to tell in the pic but the engine is painted metallic black. It matches the car almost exactly.

With all the setbacks and mistakes made I was about ready to shelf it. Now that its coming together I'm starting to get pumped up about it. Every thing should start moving along fairly quickly now. Im hoping we will drop it in Saturday night and I can start on the fuel system Sunday. I'm going to lay a factory harness and ecm in the engine bay for initial startup and fine tuning the belt alignment. It should be ready to fire in one week.
