I did CM on one and Steel on another, both have worked fine, it just down to your wallet. CM is stronger and lighter

Chromoly is stronger so it uses a thinner wall. But the strength is no different between the steel and chromoly 3 point.
IMO go with steel. there is a 5 pound weight difference. And only should consider this if you are going all out race car. And trying to find every ounce of weight savings.94 Trans am. Built 383/T56(437/409) Wilwoods, tubular suspension, QA1/BMR, Watts Link. Stripped down and set to kill!
