Went to south San Jose today (little over an hour with good traffic from here) for some 66 Elcamino parts for my friend and ended up looking at some REALLY nice Impalas that the seller had at his shop, a 65 with a 409 and 4 speed, a 61 and another 65 that he was working on.
We leave there and go to Walnut Creek and his friends son also has a 65 Impala!
I got Impala overload today but its all good in my book
My friend was working Thursday and he got rear ended by a guy who may have already been dead when he hit him, the accident moved my friends 18000 pound work truck (local utility PG&E) several feet forward because the guy never hit his brakes but it did cost him his life which sucks big time.
My friend Frank had just climbed in to the cab just before it happened and I went to S.J. so he didnt have to drive or lift the 66 parts because hes really sore from the accident and after spending about 4 hours he actually thanked me for helping him.
The thank you kinda blew me away and I told him Dude we have been friends since the 10th grade and you dont need to thank me for hanging out with you but I do understand why you said it and thats because I AM AWESOME!!!!!!
