I'm about 5 hrs from the gulf.

I'd post this in the Kill Section, except it didn't really last long enough to tell if it would have been a kill or not:

So today I pulled up next to a kid in a GTO at a red light on my way home. Was pretty clean, although I didn't care for the wheels on it. Gave each other the nod while waiting for the light to change, but he had his window up and never made any sign that he was wanting to test the waters. Light goes green and I start to go first, then I hear him get on it and jump ahead of me about a car and a half, so I put my foot in it and topped out first, banged into second and was reeling him in when he hit the brakes around 55-ish (I was almost on his rear bumper by this point) and I shot past him and slammed on the brakes. Based on that, I'm guessing it must have been an 04 since I'd expect much more pull out of an LS2. Was pretty fun though, I fell back and let him get even with me, gave each other another nod and he turned off. It might be just my mind, but I swear with a brand new fuel pump, I had a little more kick in the seat over 3k.

Cool story! It's amazing what proper fuel supply can do! LOL

Lol no kidding. At this point I think the only thing left to replace are the spark plug wires, which I have sitting in a box here, just haven't gotten around to putting them on. I think today was enough to convince me to make time for it though, new plugs went in about 6k miles ago. Apart from the wires, the only other thing I could think of that's old in the system would be the fuel injectors. About how often should those be replaced?

    Also, check this out LMAO
