Oh man I didnt think about it but my nova has an SBC in it. The rear bracket bolts to the same holes the lt1 has. Imma bolt it up and take some pics......

Yes. Bottom end is good to 1k. I spent some extra money and upgraded to arp2000 rod bolts.
I've been reading that some of the ford guys are able to get 18-22lbs of boost out of there setups but I have no clue about what they are running.Chris

POPO30 is a FORD NUT...
He just got rid of his cobra vert... it was SICK!!! He had alot of upgrades, it was like 700 rwhp....
Let me get him, and see if he can shed some light on the cobra blower on your LT1.....

Yea I looked at a few of those for ideas on belt routing. I like how the alternator runs on the backside of the belt. Depending on where it ends up I might have to use one like that.
I've also been thinking about when I get the engine done, starting it up without the sc hooked up until I get bugs worked out and for break in. I can just throw a throttle body on the front and run it. Shouldn't cause any problems I suppose?Chris
