Super nice guy. Can't say enough good things about him. Hopefully my machinist hasn't installed those springs yet. He said he could get me a cam to work with the spring but in the most polite and non-combative way he told me that it would be the backwards way of doing things. I'll find out for sure tomorrow

i told him my specs and goals and let him go at it! even found a HR spring to work with the oversized Ti retainers that where on my AFR's with the solid roller springs. and speced me an awesome cam, did a full valve job, squared the heads up...all for under $600

dam! right know im trying to find some 7.62NATO, i have only put 20rds through my AR10. and i think my next gun will be either a 308 Lapua or a 338 Lapua

I know. I should have started there first. I was dead set starting this build that I was going to do it on a budget. I think I sis a damn good job of picking up deals on the board but I made a few mistakes. I think the cc306 would make the power I was after but I'll never spin it high enough to warrant giving up the low end. As a matter of fact I'll have the m122 maxed out at 6k with the pulleys I'm running. If the machinist has already installed the springs, I'm just going to have him add shim to get the seat pressure where it should be and go with it. I'm afraid at this point if I go in ans start changing stuff I'm going to have him get into the heads while he's at it. And I want this thing done like yesterday
