Anyways I took required seat pressures specd by comp cams for the cc306. Found a set that fit the bill and jumped on them. What I didn't consider is that pressure is rated at atmospheric pressure, not under boost. So at 15 pounds per square inch and an intake valve with a surface area on the backside of roughly 4 square inches, the same spring would be about 60# too light at full boost......

Super nice guy. Can't say enough good things about him. Hopefully my machinist hasn't installed those springs yet. He said he could get me a cam to work with the spring but in the most polite and non-combative way he told me that it would be the backwards way of doing things. I'll find out for sure tomorrow
