Also an interesting thing to note on height is that one 6'4" guy may fit in the car differently than another 6'4" guy based on upper and lower body length proportions. To explain, his driver may have had longer legs and a shorter torso (or vice versa) than you which could have caused him to not be able to fit. For a fun little proof of this, find various people of different heights and have them all sit side by side back against a wall and check who's taller at the head and who has longer legs lol. But still worth a shot in checking it out and seeing if you can fit. You can always do a little cutting and fab work to give yourself some extra room, right?

Of course, I dont mind doing some fab work... and Im hoping with a paper thin race seat...and hardly any interior I can fit in it better.

Im very excited that it is soooo much of what Im looking for... the only thing that wouldve made it better would be an automatic LT1 in it alread...lol

Lol yeah, but I bet that wouldn't have come so cheap if it already had the transplant done. How big of an LT1 are you wanting to stick in it? Can't recall if you mentioned that earlier in this thread.

I'm sorry I didn't get out to get pics of the 86 this weekend, I didn't want to get out in the rain, since I still have a touch of pneumonia.

I've driven an notchback fiero before and I'm 6'4". It was a manual trans car and there was not a lot of room in the floorboard with the clutch pedal but if you're going auto than that wouldn't be a problem. I don't recall fitting too bad although it didn't have a roll cage in it.

What if I tell you Im trading cage for interior... do you think thats an even swap with space?

By ditching the cage I'm sure you would fit as I'm a good 60-70 lbs heavier than you. Although being a race car the added safety of the cage would be nice. I would just go try to get into it and see if you fit as is. If you do, keep the cage. If not, get rid of it.

No , you misread that... the car is a trade off... no interior , and it has a cage...

You said you drove one and it was tight, and you dont know how it would be with a cage... Im saying this one has the added room of no interior and it has a cage.....
