Use the optical sensor for firing the car.... once it starts car runs like normal. My best friends car had it and worked great. He had a crab style dizzy to fit under his cowl. This has been done for a long time. Modified lt1 intakes have been used for a long time on third gen tpi cars. There was a company that used to modify them for the dizzy and bolt pattern.
1996 camaro Z28, Clayton racing 398, Rossler TH350 rmvb with brake, FTI billet race converter 4400, Dana S60 with 4.10's, 300 shot, Accel DFI controlled, UMI, Spohn, PA racing, QA1's, Baer brakes, 325/45/17 M&H, Caged, Corbeau's, Simpson, etc.
From zero to fuck yeah in 3 seconds.

Neat. Never seen that before. To be honest I've never even seen a tpi engine in person.

JESSE, is that just a converted intake with a regular rear distributor cam?
Still learning a bit, but Im assuming if the cam is one for a rear mounted distributor, I can can put on a timing chain cover with no opti hole.... and its just like the days before FI... am I wrong?
Just for simplicity and cost effectiveness.... And if its getting jammed into something like a fiero... swapping an opti is gonna be a pita.... Im assuming if the cam is one for a rear mounted distributor, I can can put on a timing chain cover with no opti hole.... and its just like the days before FI... am I wrong?
That also..... Im just at a point where I want SIMPLE...

no no no no you guys need to keep this build a little tasty... get a uber gay baby blue miata. Put a 15:1, ethanol fed, single plane, 383, solid roller, billet rot assy, converted 1 gen sbc heads, th400, with an s60 or 9", and pill that mofo till it can't take no more. People would think its the gayest car to rome the planet until you fire it up and they hear a .800 lift solid roller chopping away
Lol i've been trying to get my buddy who has a baby blue miata with a fully built 60 some mm turbo that runs like 14's lol to put a ltx in it.. i think it would be the sickest thing seeing as they are like 2100 lbs.

Its a gmpp ltx intake. The distributor is an regular hei. The timing cover just needs a plug jb weld in place. The factory cam and I'm guessing the aftermarkets are already geared for an hei.
