    My friend that's building the cobra for the shootout had one of those. I wanted it so bad lol

    OK OK hear me out on this one........

    What about a 4th gen Nova (75-79)? they are pretty cheap to get a hold of, light, share a similar front sub-frame to 2nd gen f-bodies. And many came with a 8.5 rear.

    Get one of these and build a dual purpose car curves and straits.

    Plus i like the looks of them

    If you are going that route, I may be able to throw you a '70 Nova for the low low price of $0, that is if you can handle a sub-11 second sedan...

    Edit: sub-11's after you have it built. Comes as a roller
