    Default trailer hitch

    has anyone ever put a trailer hitch on there camaro? if so what hitch did you use and where to mount it? i want one by the time i leave for the shootout so i can haul a set of tires, jack and other odds and ends to the race.

    I saw a video once of a Camaro hauling a BBQ pit. Still smoked the other car. Your question made me think of that, but I have never seen it personally. Wish I could help.

    ok thanks. ya i just dont want to trialer the car because it would cost alot more in fuel to drive my truck and 26' enclosed trailer when i could just drive the car with a small trailer for half the cost.

    Ill see if bluebottlez remembers...we did head gaskets on a ws6 formula that had a hith on it... It belonged to his buddy.

    Here are some pics of how I did mine. Hitch is off a late model full size Chevy truck. I cut the brackets off of it and welded the plates to it. I also had to shorten the receiver a tad so the plate could go back on. I lost 18 lbs and added 25 lbs for a added weight of 7lbs I can pull a trailer.
