Thanku brotha... and to be honest.... I was (am) makin great money... and i had FUN doin that job... I fear I may never be lucky enough to have a job that i enjoy goin to....

and now you dont have to deal with everyone who is just trying to be a complete deuce to you just cause you have a badge...

your right... but u know... i kinda signed up for that... what caught me off guard is the people whom i represented in that uniform are the biggest offenders of treatin me like crap... thanku man...

We appreciate you buddy! I dont know why everyone give cops such a bad time. I know anytime Ive broke down or needed to ask a question they are always there for you

Its two fold... first are the people who hace something to hide or who break the rules... they dont like us cause we are tge enemy.... the other part is alotta cops are badge heavy dicks...all the time. Ive been guilty of being over aggressive but i was a rookie...as time went on.... my job became primarily HELPING PEOPLE and 2nd UPHOLDING LAWS... rather than the opposite. Thanks big man!!!

It's all good man, many of us have "whined" before lol. I know I've done my fair share when I was in a similar situation.
I know I've said this before, but there is a future out there for you once you get through the all the messiness now. Something I've been slowly learning, is that a person is not defined by their job. A person defines their job. If a person is worthless, they'll make the job look worthless, if the person is exemplary, they make the job look exemplary. Just because your department doesn't appreciate you, doesn't mean that all the people you helped don't either. I remember a picture you posted a while back of a thank you card you got from one of the victims you helped get justice for. And I know the pride you took in each and every lowlife scumbag you put behind bars. I'm sure that those people who you helped are still very grateful that Officer Hanna was there for them, and that he cared enough to do due diligence and catch the evil bastards that haunted them.

Once this is all done and settled, you'll still be LEO. You may not have a badge anymore, someone like you who takes so much pride in the job won't just let it slip away because you are no longer employable by a department. You'll bleed blue till the day you die. And I know you'll be there still for people when they need you.

We all have faith in you here man. It may be dark now, but keep staring at your shadow and you'll forget all the good you have done, and all the good and great things you have yet to do!

One more thing. I don't think you'd fit in too well as a rent a cop!

I know we have had pm sessions u have helped me thru... and i dont know if its depression or what...but its like im stuck in this hole... and i convince myself of the things u said and i climb closer to the top... and just as i feel the air is a lil crisper cause im almost out ... an event or a show... or an email or anything coats that hole with butter and no matter how hard i claw i slip all the way to the bottom... i also dont thimk i could be a mall cop.... but i needed to be funny cause all this really chews at me soooo much.

I know you police officers catch alot of flack, but those peoples' attitude changes pretty quickly the moment they are in need of a cop. Kinda sad really.

yeah, it really is sad. Everyone gets mad when they get a speeding ticket that they deserve, but who's the first person they call when they get burglarized or shot at.
