Default talk me into or out of a 4" ram air hood

had a nasty nitrous backfire late last year and did split my hood in a few places. so im now lookin at getting another. just not sure if i want a norm ram air hood or the 4" hood. so talk me into or out of it. when the car is not broke i drive it most every day. its also not crazy fast has been 11.6s but im sure will pick up later down the road.

I love the big ram air hoods... as long as they are a bigger version of what should be on the car. Im not a fan of the LS1 hoods on the LTX cars, or the ram air hood with the spaced out ram air scoups.

I think your car allready looks GREAT with the hood thats in your signature as well....

and the other reason im thinkin bout the 4" hood is cause in the last few weeks iv seen 3 other lt1 birds in my town with the oem style ram air hood. so iv got to do something to set mine apart again. at first it was black wheels on a black car and now every retard is doin that round here.

That's the same one I'm getting for my Formula. I wasn't too sure if it would be over the top but like you the oem ram air is something you see on alot of Pontiacs.

I really like that hood too. It seems like a huge 4" online, but there are some pictures around of them on cars and it doesn't look very huge at all. Looks really nice in my opinion.

I could go either way. I doubt id run it on my car but it doesn't look bad. I was looking at the shaker hoods before I found out they were over 900 bucks.
