frans not kicking on......need some help
so i notice my car was overheating and i checked coolant and water pump, and all that stuff to make sure it is working. and i noticed the fans have stopped coming on! i tried changing the relays and that didnt work.
i made sure the connections were still good as they are, so i have no idea what the problem could be????
am i going to have to wire them manually?

Do you possibly think the motor in the fans went bad?

well they were working and one day when i went to drive it i noticed the temp would get higher then go down as i drove, so when i got it home i opened the hood and noticed the fans were not working.
i dont think both fan motors would go bad at once.
im at a loss on this one.

What kind of thermostat you got? Or did you rule that out in your overlook?

Have the fans been reprogrammed to come on at a lower temp? If not, the factory setting for the first fan is 226. You would have to run the engine up to this temp and confirm it with a scan if able before you could truly say the fans were not working. If you haven't already, check out this site....

well considering by the time i got it home it was near the 260 mark confirms it was hot enough and i can see my fans when i pop the hood and they are not moving.
Tstat has bee replaced, and yes fans have been reprogramed. this weekend im going to try and jump one fan to see if it will come on.
i know 100% that my fans are not working and everything else is. its bizar

Check if you are getting power out of the relays. If yes, go to the fan connectors to see if you have power.
Did you check the fusible links to see if any of them fried? When I lost a motor, one of the fusible links fried. Replaced the link and the motor, all was well.

i had the same problem, installed slp fan controller, fans both work, relays are good. in my case i think i have bad output drivers in the ecu, still never solved the prob, reprogrammed fans tooo
