I was talking to dave about 9s. He has the shortblock and mosta the suspention already. He needs his heads ported and converted. Cam,injectors,etc.. he could do it by next season if his 3rdgen stuff sales.
I've got everything to run it. Well besides a converter and driveshaft. Granted soon as I do, ill get kicked out for no cage.

I'm going new on my 355 forged set up I'm not going to cheap out on an engine build if you do it right and want a good reliable set up in the 10's N/A the car is going to cost quite a bit.

That's your fault its gonna cost 20k then. There are TONS of deals to be had because people change up combos and just sell shit for a good price to unload it.
I've been there done that. Hell I've gave parts away/ heads /intakes cuz I didn't want it sitting around waiting for a buyer.
I got dave a good deal on his tfs heads , hsr , procharger setup. I know we can get him in the 9s for under 20k. I've built quite a few customers cars in the 11s/10s/9s. N/A , nitrous , blowers , turbos.
I'm not just a e-racer. I've worked in claytons performance shop , full bore performance , did stuff for dynatech racing. I've been at this game for 20yrs man. I don't claim to know it all, I learn new shit all the time. I live it, breath it, work it 8 -12hrs a day. I build all my own engines. Blue print em etc. 1 of my good friends has a dts dyno . The other a full machine shop.
As you said in a post. Get to know people. If I didn't know it could be done under 20k I would never said it. You wanta shoot the shit and talk automotive , boat or aviation performance feel free to pm me and ill give ya my cell # so the boards not cluttered with bickering back n forth.
