ok so id love to have a 360 but i think ive been out voted by the wife and kids,,looks like im gonna get a wii for the family and have to wait on my 360..question is where the heck is the best place to go and what exactly do i need??with all the bundles im confused,,i have a wife and 3 kids(2 of which can play now) and me of course so will i need a bunch of stuff for 4 player mode?

When I got mine and my parents got theres (last christmas) we ordered two bundles with the Wii fit package....

Best deal i found was on ebay, and the company that I bought it from actually threw in wireless nun-chucks for free.....

we just got done getting a Wii and if your a costco member that is the place to get it right now. they have the wii for $194 and wii fit is $85. Mario brothers wii is also $43 there instead of $50 at bb (where i bought it)

we got the Wii online at Best buy because last week they had a special deal where you got a $20 gift card if you ordered the wii online. i'm pretty sure it's over though. i then took the $20 gift card and my 10% off member coupon for this weekend and got the Wii play game for $25 plus tax ($28.xx total) at the local Best Buy store.

i see a ton there,,but when i look for 4 player bundles all i find our these $750 bundles,,the kids werent good enough this year for that,,,do ya think id be better off building my own bundle so to speak?

that is why i didn't bother with walmart.

a week ago friday i found the best buy thing and i had a $5 coupon for accruing 250 points at best buy (and i was only 139 points away from another $5 card so i'll get another one soon). had i known that i was going to end up going to best buy to get super mario wii since i was afraid it was going to sell out (see my "am i cheap" thread) i would have just done the store pickup on it. they had plenty of wii's in stock when i was in there that sunday. the shipping was only 99 cents though but i did still have to pay sales tax.

so between the $20 gift card and the $5 bestbuy credit, i saved $25 instead of $50. it was not worth it for me to go out and stand in line for x hours for the other $25.

the funny part is the wii i bought was for my sister and i had it shipped here. my dad decided he wanted a wii for himself so he bought another wii and had that one shipped directly to my sister in wisconsin but somehow didn't add the $20 gift card to the basket before he checked out so he didn't get the $20 card on that one. he tried calling Best buy and they said they'd email him instructions or something but it's been a week and he hasn't heard anything. i got the wii on wednesday and the gift card came thursday.
