AS&M is your only good option, They are a bit expensive but they are proven performers. They tuck up in stock location and keep the cat and all the air egr crap... I love mine.

I saw a pair of AS&M mid length headers on ebay a couple of weeks ago, went for about $200 I believe. I just put a set om my 94 T/A and love them.
Can't wait to get a tune and do some rr's and springs. Long tubes may be better for 400 plus hp cars but anything less mid tubes are the way to go.

Go with long tubes and get rid of that Flowmaster and all that emission crap you don`t need. Magnaflow makes a great system for our cars.

Being that there are SO many of you that DON'T live in CA, giving sugestions like "just put it the LT's and delete the smog crap" is really bad advise.

I live in CA and I run the pacesetter mids that have the E.O.# on the headers and are legal. You can still run a high flow cat. It tucks up just like the factory exhaust.

If any of you have looked at fluid dynamics, you can see the benifits of a tube header over a mass produced cast iron log manifolds, regardless of the size, 1-5/8 or 1-3/4.

So, is 5 HP worth getting your car impounded? Mine is not.

390 rwhp is just fine with me in a daily driver. ALL SMOG LEGAL IN CA.

Ya, everything's gotta be emissions legal.

Sometime down the road, maybe when i'm out of collage. I plan on building a forged, supercharged 500rwhp monster out of this car w/ my dad.

For boost should I stick with my stock manifolds or should i go with a nice set of mid tubes or shorties?

This is all just theoretical of course.

Why? I like how the flowmaster sounds, idc if it flows worse, it sounds sexy.

I just think Magnaflow makes better catback for our cars. Go with the mid-tubes.
