    That's pretty ghetto I'd get it tuned via the PCM or a switch.

    Um you NEED a 50/50 mixture in there. Just the regular coolant by itself is way to thick. I usually just buy the pre-mixed, cause i know my water at home has shit in it that i dont want in my engine.

    Already got that covered, and it should be distilled water.

    Correct, distilled or your asking for trouble later on. 175-180 is NOT too cold for an LT1.
