    According to the onboard computer that comes with the truck I've been averaging anywhere from 13- 13.7 mpg. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I have to baby it pretty well to stay above 13.5 mpg. I haven't checked with highway driving yet though.

    Fair enough. I figure he'll also not like the price of 18-20" tires.

    congrats, i suggest getting a gear for it i gained 1 mpg to getting 17mpg in my 03 hemi rcsb by going with a 4.56 and ive ran a 9.42 with a 2.20 60ft. these are fun trucks
    97 formula m6- intake, bbk headers, underdrive pulley's, SLP loudmouth, centerforce clutch, B&m Ripper, 160 thermostat, od1 conv, CC503 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, behive springs Meziere pump
    03 hemi ram 1500--true flow intake, flowmaster dump, superchips, and 4.56 rear end
