    thanks guys, I'll hopefully have the hood functional after this weekend too, using a air base and stock lid from a ls1 ws6. I'll be sure to post some pics on it once it's done.
    1995 Formy M6 T-top LS1 WS6 air box w/LG G2 lid, LE 226/230 cam, cleaned up stock heads, 1.6 RR's, SLP pp, SPEC stage 3+ disc, LPP longtubes, Magnaflow, t/a cover, 3.73's, J&M LCA's, UMI 3pt SFC's. 12.8 @ 110 on a 2.00 60' 3 days after going back together untuned.

    yeah the stripe definately would've been too much for my car, not enough silver anywhere else for it to have looked right.

    ya know that tony stewart/amorall commercial where he walks out and just stands there and looks at his vette, that's how I am when I look at my car now.
