BEST tuners in the midwest, who are they?
preferebly with lots of experience on FI cars....My car is almost done and i will be needing it tuned shortly. the car is going to see alot of street driving as well as track and I'd like to have a good amount of drivability street tuning done as well as dyno tuning. Im located in Cincinnati, and would be possibly willing to trailor the car within a a couple hundred miles.
for the relevant stuff it's a 94 LT1. 383, 248/248 solid roller cam, AFR 227 heads fully ported, Jesel shaft mount rockers, 8.5:1 pistons, LT4 intake modified and rear mount MSD probillet distributor, hvcII coil, msd digital 6, MSD crank trigger, 74mm turbo
Tuning with original FAST
who in ohio or the surrounding area/ states would be good to tune it? any examples of cars they've tuned
Thanks

Well since you have OBD1 Speedinc doesnt have the software, but Ion does come into the shop to do OBD1 dyno tunes once in a while. Call Larry and see what he suggests.

Finishline Performance in Naperville, IL has the capabilities of OBDI dyno tuning. They have plenty of experience with FI cars. Ask for Mitch over there.

With a FAST system, you could take it just about anywhere, even to a Ford shop. FAST systems are universal. You'll just have to search around and see who is fluent with it. I wouldn't even think of getting a mail order tune with the setup that you have. Heads/cam cars or bolt-on cars are one thing, what you have needs to be damn close right off the bat.

You might also give Comp a call and see if they have a recommended tuner near you. I did that with my DFI set-up initially. Maybe they would have you bring it to Memphis and the FAST guys could tune it for you.
