    Default Line Locks on Automatics

All of my friends have 6 speeds so they have them of course...but I was in my uncle's drag car the other day and I saw that he had one on his auto...is this a practical thing to put on an automatic...pros? cons? I know i could brake torque it to do a burnout but would this be a better way? Thanks in advance!

when u power break it in a auto the rear brakes are engaged. so yes a line lock would help u save that rear brake pad and rotor wear

The tranny makes absolutely NO difference. All it does is save the rear brakes from unneccesary wear.
